Signe Birck is a food and lifestyle photographer, content creator, and creative director, currently based in Copenhagen.

Having spent 13 years in Brooklyn, Signe combines the best of her two worlds in her work: a refined Scandinavian sensitivity, with an edgy, NYC spirit.

Signe has worked professionally as a photographer for 20+ years. The first four years as a paid apprentice, being given a unique-to-Denmark education based on immediate hands-on work with a designated photo studio, combined with University-level theoretical courses, including post-production, photographic history, and advertising. 

After graduation, she worked at various commercial/advertising photo studios in and around Copenhagen, gaining solid experience with high paced, high volume, image production for clients within the food, interior, hospitality, and lifestyle spaces. 

In early 2012, she decided to try her wings in NYC, where she built a solid and impressive career, collaborating with high-end Chefs and restaurants, as well as shooting books, editorial, content, travel, and more. 

Signe keeps her ear to the ground, and a keen eye on detail. She works effortlessly with large studio productions, as well as on location. She understands the needs of the clients, whether it being big projects, or smaller social media assignments. As a way of staying grounded in a wild world, she is often found working on personal, conceptual projects.
